Locus

Platform

Locus is the platform I built to run my homelab: a Kubernetes cluster that it sets up, checks and repairs, deploys to from a push on GitHub, and grows or shrinks with my approval. This page is not a screenshot. Everything on it comes from that cluster as you read it, and the demos of my projects run on it.

My demos

Demos of my own projects that you start from their pages. Each one runs in a world of its own on the cluster below: its own namespace, database and secrets, no way into my network, and gone again after a while.

No demos yet. The first one, a MatrixPearls Minecraft server, is on its way.

The platform, live locus.platform.live

My homelab as Locus sees it right now: its health, what it deploys and how long that takes, and the changes it proposes to itself. Hostnames, addresses and error texts are left out on purpose.

Health

Something is down

99 checks: 93 fine, 4 to look at, 2 critical. Last run 2 min ago.

Deploying now

Nothing right now. A push to a production branch shows up here, from the build to live, with the time Locus expects it live.

Applications

The last deployment of each, and how long it took from push to live.

Scaling proposals

Locus measures the cluster and proposes changes; nothing happens until I approve one on my phone.
